Simon Heale

Simon Heale was educated at Oxford, Harvard and Stanford. He is a qualified chartered accountant and has held leading positions in the financial sector in California, Tokyo, Hong Kong and London.
Simon stepped down as Chief Executive of the London Metal Exchange in 2006 to lead "China Now", a six-month celebration of contemporary China in 2008.
China Now, expected to be the largest festival outside of China in 2008, will bring the best of contemporary China to the UK across a variety of activities and events.
These range from art, design and culture, through lifestyle, technology and education, sport to business.
The festival aims to reach all ages, across the whole country. The Chinese community is invited to seize this opportunity and really make it their own.
